And it was in that it meant hiking more than 11 miles and 4 trails in different areas of South Cumberland State Park–Stone Door and Savage Gulf–and my muscles are feeling it. But, there were some spectacular views and beautiful falls and peaceful hiking beneath the numerous hemlocks . . . lots of Lady’s Slippers and azaleas and violets . . . hawks gliding on the currents in Laurel Gulf . . . yes, an outstanding day.
