I spent the past eight days at the Savannah Film Festival watching nearly 50 films as well as attending numerous Q&A’s relating to some of the movies and a couple of informal discussions with actors, directors and film critics. Which, of course, left little time for ruminating on what I would write for my usual Sunday blog post.

But, one of the last films we saw was “based” on a Proverb that is dear to our hearts as it is also the same Proverb and verse that was used to create and number the Boy Scouts troop at King of Peace Episcopal Church in Kingsland, Georgia.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
~~Proverbs 22:6
